Fire Marshal’s Office

What does a Fire Marshal do?

The Fire Marshal identifies fire hazards by conducting routine inspections of businesses, foster homes, day care centers, and schools and by reviewing plans for new construction to ensure fire safety codes are being followed.

Pender County has one Fire Marshal and two Deputy Fire Marshals who also assist with Emergency Management duties.
