PENDER COUNTY – Pender County is home to many dedicated individuals who give their time and talents to support their neighbors and strengthen the community. Now is the time to recognize these exceptional volunteers by submitting a nomination for the 2025 Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards!
Each year, counties across North Carolina select up to ten individuals, businesses, groups/teams, and one paid Director of Volunteers to be honored for their service. One nominee from each county will also be considered for the prestigious Governor’s Medallion Award for Volunteer Service, which recognizes the top 20 volunteers in the state. A local committee will evaluate the nominations before submitting Pender County’s finalists to the North Carolina Office of the Governor.

Completed nomination forms must be submitted by Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025. Late submissions will not be eligible for review.
Honoring Our Volunteers
