House Fire in Rocky Point Displaces Three Residents

Rocky Point, NC – A house fire broke out early this morning at approximately 4:25 AM on Rocky Point Training School Road, significantly damaging a single-wide mobile home.

Firefighters from Rocky Point Volunteer Fire Department, Pender EMS & Fire, and New Hanover County Fire & Rescue responded swiftly to the scene, where they encountered heavy fire conditions. Upon arrival, crews worked diligently to contain the blaze and prevent further spread to nearby structures.

Despite their efforts, the fire caused extensive damage to the home, displacing three occupants. American Red Cross is on-site providing assistance and support to those affected during this challenging time.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Pender County Fire Marshal's Office. No injuries to firefighters or civilians have been reported.

Residents are urged to prioritize fire safety in their homes, especially during the colder months when the risk of fires can increase.
