HAMPSTEAD, N.C. — Pender County Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the lineup for the 2024 Hampstead Alive After Five concert series. With an array of talented musicians and vibrant community spirit, this year’s series promises unforgettable evenings of live entertainment.

“We’re thrilled to kick off the 2024 concert series,” said Director of Pender County Parks and Recreation Zachary White. “It’s always a blast seeing familiar faces and meeting new folks, bringing everyone together for some fantastic music and good times.”

The free Friday evening concerts will showcase live performances by:

• May 17: Carl Newton’s Review – Eastern NC’s premier dance show band known for their performances of Motown classics, timeless hits, and crowd-pleasing party tunes.
• June 7: Heart Stop – A rock band from Eastern NC, specializing in a mix of modern rock, classic favorites, blues, and country melodies.
• June 21: British Invaders – Take a nostalgic journey back to the 1960s when iconic English bands made waves in the USA, with an authentic tribute to the era’s legendary music.
• July 19: Jimmy Dreams – Paying homage to the legendary Jimmy Buffet, this tribute band delivers a lively performance infused with the laid-back vibes of Margaritaville.
All concerts will be held at Hampstead Kiwanis Park, located at 586 Sloop Point Loop Road, Hampstead, NC 28443.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., and guests are welcome to bring blankets and chairs for added comfort as they enjoy the music. An array of food trucks will be present, ensuring there’s something to satisfy every appetite. Please be aware that alcohol consumption is prohibited at the venue.
