21st Annual North Carolina Blueberry Festival!

Burgaw, NC- The North Carolina Blueberry Festival will host our 21st Annual summer festival. The festival will occur on and around Burgaw’s historic courthouse square at 100 S Wright Street. On June 14th, we will have a kickoff concert starting at 7 pm and ending at 10 pm, and on June 15th, from 9 am to 10 pm. This free event includes 175 artisan vendors, fresh local blueberries for sale, children’s activities, beer and wine, delicious food, and live music from well-loved beach music like Band of Oz and more! The festival also encourages the public to participate in various events, from the recipe contest and BBQ cook-off to a 5k race and car and truck show.

The North Carolina Blueberry Festival is more than just a fun-filled event. It’s a heritage celebration that unites the community, paying tribute to the historical, economic, and cultural significance of blueberries grown in the southeastern region. When you attend the festival, you’re not just having fun but also supporting a cause. The proceeds from the festival go towards providing educational scholarships to students in blueberry-producing counties like Bladen, Duplin, New Hanover, Pender, and Sampson. They also support academic and sports-related school programs, medical clinics in schools, and other local charitable efforts, including Meals on Wheels. Your participation makes a difference.

The North Carolina Blueberry Festival Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. More than 100 volunteers worked together to make the festival possible. You’ll find something for the entire family at the North Carolina Blueberry Festival. For more information, please visit, www.ncblueberryfestival.com.
