This new shooter clinic is designed to instruct women on the basics of firearm safety and the fundamentals of shooting. This Women on Target class is supported by the National Rifle Association. Classroom instruction & written handouts on safe gun handling and fundamentals of marksmanship. Supervised shooting range training exercises in pistol & rifle operation using easy-to-handle firearms. Guns, ammunition, targets, hearing and eye protection will be provided for use during the class. The classroom portion will be held at the Pender County Sheriff's Office then we will caravan to Holly Shelter Shooting Range for shooting training exercises. Students must bring a bag lunch.
When: Saturday, May 31st from 8:30am - 3:30pm
Where: You will meet at The Pender County Sheriff's Office first for the classroom portion before heading out to The Holly Shelter Shooting Range (please see below for the addresses and directions)
Who: Women 18 years of age & up
Cost: $30 per participant
