Pender County, NC – Pender County residents are being notified of a delay in mailing this year’s tax bills caused by technical issues with our tax management software. The county is actively working to resolve these issues and ensure that all tax bills are mailed out as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, we encourage residents to utilize our online services to check and pay their tax bills at https://mss.pendercountync.gov/css/citizens/default.aspx. The online portal provides a convenient and secure way to manage tax payments without waiting for the physical bill to arrive. Residents can mail payments to the Pender County Tax Collections Office, P.O. Box 1047, Burgaw, NC 28425. You can also visit the Pender County Tax Office in person at 300 E Fremont Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.
“We understand how important it is for residents to receive their tax bills on time, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause,” said Sarah Pridgen, Tax Collection Manager. “Our team is working closely with Tyler to resolve the technical issues and expedite the mailing process.”
We appreciate the patience and understanding of our residents during this period and want to assure them that every effort is being made to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
