Combat Related Special Compensation
Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC) is a program that was created for disability and non-disability military retirees with combat-related disabilities.

Compensation Claim
Compensation is for veterans who have disabilities that incurred while on active duty that remains a chronic issue.

Dependency & Indemnity Compensation (DIC)
This is a monthly compensation benefit awarded to surviving spouses and children of veterans whose death is related to their active duty service or a result of the veteran’s service connected disability.

Education
Several programs are available to help with educational costs for veterans; some programs may have additional eligibility requirements.

Medical Benefits
Veterans must enroll for health benefits using the 10-10EZ application.

North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs offer 4 full-service, skilled nursing facilities for veterans.

Veteran ID Cards
You can access and print a free Veterans identification proof of service letter through the joint VA/DoD web portal, Ebenefits.
