Teen and Young Adult Job Fair at the Library
BURGAW – On Saturday, June 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Pender County Library will host a Summer Job Fair for teens and young adults at the Main Library in Burgaw.
Join us to speak with prospective employers who are actively hiring and receive assistance from representatives from NC Works. Participating employers are recruiting for job opportunities in customer service, sales, food service, manufacturing, healthcare, and hospitality.
Interview space will be available for on-the-spot interviews. Public computers will be available for participants who wish to submit online job applications or to file for work permits. Representatives from NC Works will be onsite to help with any application or resume questions and to provide career services. The job fair is recommended for teens and young adults ages 15 to 25, but participants of all ages are encouraged to attend. There is no fee to participate in the job fair, and registration is not required.
