Even COVID-19 doesn’t alter trash sites

While Pender County continues to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will carry on business as usual at our transfer station and convenience sites. Here is the info:

No changes in business hours for Trash and Recycling convenience sites.

SW stickers must be attached to the windshield. Stickers are only issued to Pender County residents living in the unincorporated areas of the county.

For Construction disposal – Once a day small loads under 200 lb. can be disposed of by residents into a construction bin at Rocky Point, Atkinson, Burgaw, and Willard sites (examples- Couches, mattresses, box springs, other furniture and a small load of construction debris under 200 lbs.)
