Holly Shelter Shooting Range to open

BURGAW – The Holly Shelter Shooting Range is scheduled to open Wednesday, Oct. 10.

“We are tracking Hurricane Michael,” said Doug Shipley, Pender County Parks and Recreation director. “If the hurricane tracks into Pender County, we will not open the shooting range.”

The range will operate on normal hours, unless Hurricane Michael impacts the weather. The Holly Shelter Shooting Range is open Wednesdays through Saturdays, from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 – 6 p.m.
